Purpose and Scope
Business Initiative uses AI tools in parts of our content and product workflow. This page explains exactly where AI is involved, where humans are in the loop, and what boundaries we enforce. We believe you deserve to know.
Where We Use AI

Where We Do Not Use AI
- Legal or financial advice. AI does not generate legal opinions, tax advice, or financial recommendations. We are not a law firm or financial advisor.
- Service delivery. Business formation filings, registered agent services, and document preparation are handled by human professionals, not AI.
- Data fabrication. AI is never used to generate, estimate, or fabricate statistics. All data comes from verified government sources listed in our Sources Index.
- Automated publishing. No content is published without human review and approval.
Human Review Standards
- Every piece of published content has been read and approved by at least one human editor.
- Statistical claims are verified against source data before publication.
- Calculator formulas are tested with known inputs and expected outputs before release.
- AI-generated text that cannot be verified is discarded, not published.
Model Transparency
- We use commercially available large language models (LLMs) for content assistance. We do not train custom models on user data.
- We do not share your personal data with AI model providers.
- AI tool outputs on our site are clearly labeled where applicable.
Limitations of AI
- AI models can produce incorrect, outdated, or misleading information. That is why every AI output on Business Initiative passes through human review.
- AI-powered tools (Business Structure Selector, LLC Name Generator) provide general guidance based on your inputs. They are not substitutes for professional legal, tax, or business advice.
- We cannot guarantee that AI-assisted content is free of all errors, which is why we maintain a robust Accuracy & Corrections process.
Prohibited Uses
We do not use AI to:
- Impersonate real people or fabricate quotes.
- Generate fake reviews, testimonials, or endorsements.
- Create misleading or deceptive content.
- Make automated decisions about individual users without human oversight.
Your Rights
- If you believe AI-generated content on our site is inaccurate, you can report it through our correction process.
