Rewards & Value

Base earn rate1 SkyMile per $1 eligible purchasesEverything Else (eligible): 1.5x weekly/daily/prepaid; 1x semi-monthly; 1x monthly. Official cash value uses dollar examples — 100,000 pts = $520 cash (0.52¢/pt), $510 gift cards, $490 statement credit. Issuer copy that says “0.0052 cents/point” conflicts; use the dollar examples. Weekly 1.5x everything else ≈ 0.78% cash.
Welcome bonusConflict across official pages. Delta business-cards page: limited-time 90,000 bonus miles after $6,000 eligible purchases in the first 6 months — offer ends November 4, 2026. Amex product page (same period): evergreen-style 60,000 after $4,000 in the first 6 months with no end date. Treat 90k/$6k through 11/4/2026 as the live limited-time public offer; 60k/$4k as the fallback. Apply-flow T&Cs win.Not offered on live public product pages (official rewards page and NerdWallet, Apr 2026). No spend threshold, no once-per-lifetime language, no offer expiration.
Redemption valuePay with Miles = 1.0¢ ($50 off per 5,000 miles on delta.com). Award travel is dynamic; TakeOff 15 improves award pricing ~15% on Delta-operated flights only (not partner-operated, not taxes/fees). Do not assume transfer-partner value — this card does not transfer.Cash back (ACH or check, ~15 business days): 100,000 pts = $520 (0.52¢). Gift cards (Tango, 3–5 days): $510 (0.51¢). Statement credit: $490 (0.49¢). Partner travel cited by NerdWallet/Bankrate at 1¢/pt is not quantified on the current official rewards page — secondary / verify in-product. Weekly 7x restaurants on the first $5k ≈ 3.64% cash if rules are met.
Transfer partnersNone. Currency is Delta SkyMiles, not Membership Rewards. No transfer-out to other airlines. Miles do not expire under Delta’s published policy; Delta may still deactivate an account and remove miles. Not offered

Credit & Eligibility

MetricDelta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express CardBILL Divvy Card
Personal guaranteeRequired in substance. CMA: Basic Card Member and Company remain jointly and severally liable for all charges. Quote the live application before publishing a legal excerpt.Conflict. BILL blog (2 Sep 2026): does not require a personal guarantee; owner is not personally liable. WebBank agreement: if the entity fails to pay, the individual signing personally guarantees all amounts owed. BBB complaints include users told no PG then collected as guarantors. Marketing ≠ agreement — quote the customer’s actual Card Agreement.
Credit checkKnow if you're approved with no impact on your personal credit score until acceptance. Business credit may be impacted on submit. Accepting the card may impact personal credit. Treated as a hard pull on accept in industry practice; Amex does not print “hard pull” on the marketing page.Official Application FAQ: soft inquiry on the business and the authorized signer. We don't do a hard inquiry. Application collects estimated personal credit score of the signer, SSN or passport, DOB, residential address.
Employee cards$0 additional-card fee. Spend controls / alerts marketed; Account Manager role can add cards, pay, review transactions. Hard cap on number not disclosed on this product page — do not invent 99 unless the application states it.Unlimited physical + virtual. Admin budgets and controls; freeze/unfreeze; MCC / merchant / amount policies on custom-limit virtual cards. Liability sits on the business account (and, if the WebBank clause applies, the signer after entity default).
Product typeRevolving small-business credit card (published purchase APR, ADB interest, minimum-payment rule). Not a charge card. Not a corporate / net-terms spend platform.Corporate charge card + spend-management platform. Full balance due each billing cycle; no revolving APR on public product pages. Credit is a business line used via physical/virtual cards with budgets. Official page also offers variable, fixed, and secured credit-line types. Not a consumer card.

Pros & Cons

Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express Card

Pros

  • $0 year-1 fee then $150 — lowest annual fee in the Delta business lineup
  • 1st checked bag free worldwide + 2nd bag free domestic (2026 add) can offset the AF in a few team trips
  • 2X on uncapped restaurants plus capped U.S. shipping and U.S. digital/TV/radio ads
  • $0 foreign-transaction fee and $0 employee cards (employee spend feeds the $10k flight-credit threshold)
  • TakeOff 15 reduces Delta-metal award cost 15%

Cons

  • Ongoing $150 AF with credits that are conditional, portal-locked, or enrollment-gated after renewal
  • Miles are Delta-only — no Membership Rewards transfers
  • No lounge, no GE/PreCheck credit, thinner insurance than Platinum/Reserve Business
  • No 0% intro APR; carrying a balance is expensive (19.49%–28.49% as of 09/02/2026)
  • Personal guarantee / joint and several liability; advertising 2X is MCC-narrow (media providers, not any marketing vendor)

BILL Divvy Card

Pros

  • $0 annual and per-card fees with unlimited physical/virtual cards
  • Real budget locks, vendor virtual cards, AI receipt matching, and two-way ERP sync in the free Spend & Expense software
  • Headline earn can be high on weekly dining/hotel spend inside the first $5k/month (official table)
  • Soft-pull application; reports to SBFE for business-credit building
  • Visa Signature primary auto-rental CDW on business rentals; AP customers can pay vendors on the card with $0 BILL transaction fee

Cons

  • Charge card: miss a due date and you get a late fee (2.99% or $38) plus freeze/default risk, not a revolver
  • Rewards are operationally fragile: 30% of line, 12-month lock, 5,000-pt minimum, ~0.5¢ cash value, first-$5k bonus window
  • Foreign spend: FTF + no points
  • PG language conflict between BILL marketing and the WebBank agreement / complaint file
  • No welcome bonus, no travel-credit stack, no transfer partners; Trustpilot on bill.com is weak (1.7/5)

Verdict

Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express Card

This is the low-fee Delta business cobrand — not personal Delta Gold (supermarkets 2X), not Platinum/Reserve Business, and not Amex Business Gold (MR). Confirm the live apply-flow welcome (90k/$6k through 11/4/2026 on Delta vs 60k/$4k still on Amex’s product URL). Skip it if you will not fly Delta, want transferable points, need 0% float, or refuse a PG.

BILL Divvy Card

This is a charge card + free Spend & Expense, not a 2% cash daily driver and not paid BILL AP/AR. Size the line to spend so the 30% rule is reachable. Confirm the live Card Agreement on personal guarantee — WebBank makes the signer a guarantor if the company does not pay. Skip it if you need to revolve, spend abroad, or cash out a simple flat rate in year one.
